Project Estimator (Romeoville, IL):

Review required blueprint pages needed to perform blueprint take-offs and generate estimates and formal company proposals. Obtain specialty material pricing. Prepare formal proposals identifying the scope of work and exclusions in detail, and email proposals out timely. Complete requests from General Contractors for bid/cost breakdowns or completion of bid documents. Deliver and attend sealed bids. Maintain established spreadsheets to assist in calculating estimates with accuracy. Review estimates with project manager, prior to submitting formal proposals. Obtain material submittals and create purchase orders for awarded projects. Attend scope review meetings when requested. Review the details of the project with the assigned foreman. Attend pre bid or preconstruction site meetings and conduct weekly site visits with the foreman and GC superintendents on all ongoing projects.

Requires master’s degree in civil engineering.
